Treatment of angiodysplasia with FiAPC® probe 1500 A using preciseAPC® mode

Angiodysplasias in all sections of the gastrointestinal tract can be treated successfully using argon plasma coagulation. The aim is to avoid recurrent bleeding. Angiodysplasias often occur in the small intestine and can be treated with excellent results with a flexible FiAPC® probe using preciseAPC®. A low power setting in this case is helpful for keeping down the risk of perforation in the thinwalled parts of the intestinal tract.
